Snowboard racks for the 2019 RDX
Are there any specifications for which roof racks and cross bars the new 2019 RDX roof rails can have installed? We went to REI and they told us they weren't sure if the new RDXs will be compatible with the Thule snowboard/ski racks. Are there third-party cross bars or snowboard racks that we know would be compatible with the Acura installed roof rails?

I just bought Acura's crossbars (08L04-TJB-200/08L04-TJB-200A) from oemacuraparts. I think this is actually Thule's crossbars and they white labeled them with Acura's logo. Of course you can look for the same model from Thule but just do not see any reason not to go with standard from Acura.
Once you have crossbars you can buy pretty much any modern snowboard rack or sky box from Thule/Yakima. We have Thule SnowPack 6 for our skis.

I emailed Thule and they said they were working on having something ready for crossbar support. Hoping they hurry up, I already have Thule stuff and can’t justify rebuying the Acura version.

Thanks for your reply! We are emailing Thule as well, so they should be able to give us a definite answer. It does seem like the Acura OEM part might be based on Thule, if so the pricing in the OEM website appears to be cheaper than the Thule or getting it from the dealer. I may just go for the OEM parts, it looks pretty good and I like that the branding is Acura. Either way we'll update after the email.
