Setting Home on Navigation System

I'm a new owner of the '20 RDX with Tech package. I like the navigation system but I can't figure out how to store my home address as "Home". I've saved it as a Favorite but not as "Home". Per the instructions, I hit Navigation, Find, Set Home Address, enter the address with the keyboard, and hit Favorite but the system says Favorite already saved. Do I need to delete it as a Favorite (which I can't figure out how to do that)?

The instructions for setting home address are on page 19.

I'm going to use a relay attack to steal your RDX, let your navigation system guide me to your house using the home address you stored, open your garage door using the HomeLink, then clog your toilet. The neighbors won't bother calling the police since they'll see a familiar vehicle entering your garage.

Thank you. I think it has what I need. Which brings up another question as I read through it. What's the difference between Offline (using map database) and Connected Features. What functionality do I lose with Offline other than not up to date maps? Would I lose traffic if I go offline? Does Connected Features use data?

Just something to consider... set your home address to a nearby store or landmark, and not your actual home address. A valet or thief who has your car could look up your home address and rob it knowing you aren’t home. The only time I use “go home” for navigation is when I’m out of town and just want to get back, and an address a few blocks away isn’t going to matter.

Call me paranoid, but it’s a fact of life that happens so just throwing it out there.

I finally got it to work by pressing for several seconds on the home button. Also, I used a nearby address instead of my home address as suggested. Thank for the advice everyone.

Never put your REAL HOME address, just put it a few miles off.

Our registration and insurance papers are in the glove box. I don't think the home address in the nav system is an issue.

Lock the glove box.

Keep your insurance card in your wallet/purse/smartphone. Don't leave the registration in there unless it's required by law in your state (it's not required in Texas, but it is in Louisiana and I had to prove a police officer wrong several years ago).
