Do i need Rust Proofing on 2020 RDX? Should i get spray rust proofing or Rubberized undercoating? What is the good place to get it done. I am from Canada.

I didn't know this was even a thing that you could do. I don't know if the undercarriage on the RDX is prone to rusting, but during the winter I would just try to spray soap and water on the underneath to get rid of all of the road chemicals. That was all I did. Now that it's not winter, I don't wash the undercarriage at all.

Bonus points for the Fargo reference. You Betcha.
All modern cars have underbody rustproofing from the factory.
If you want to make a voluntary donation to the dealership, that's your choice, but depending upon how they are applied, some aftermarket coatings may actually trap water and accelerate corrosion.
If you live in the road salt infested North, invest your money in trips to a car wash with an underbody sprayer. They are everywhere.

The only thing my dealer tried to get me to buy was an extended warranty, which I declined. He did sort of gouge me on my trade-in, but I didn't really care, tbh. I was just looking to get rid of the car, so I let him get the easy win on it. I'd like to think that if I was the guy in "Fargo," I would have walked away, but I'm relatively easy-going on negotiations. I'm not one of the people who go into it with the "this is war and I'm winning it." My mother, in particular, if she has to buy something she'll argue for hours over even $5 on a thousand dollar purchase. That car salesman guy would have probably jumped out a window if he tried that on her, lol.

The salesperson is just the first pass. It's the finance guy you have to watch out for. And he comes well armed.

I didn't finance through the dealer, so I think that's also why they were really trying to nail me on the trade-in. But like I said, I ultimately didn't care. My last car I held on to for a long time, which they knew because of the model year and the fact that I was a single owner, so they knew they weren't getting repeat business no matter how nice they were to me, also. So I totally didn't blame them for trying to nail me. I would have done the same thing. And I had better things to worry about than a few bucks for one purchase in my entire life. So I sort of let them win.

Not everything like this are scams; however, I would never buy anything from the buyers. I can't speak for rust proofing but I can for PPF (xpel ultimate) which is a great product and something I will spend $1500 on for all of my new cars that I intend to keep for an extended period of time.

It looks nice, but do you have to install it yourself? Also, you would have to make sure you paint corrected first, right? So it would cost more than that. Although I think it would be nice to have that on, I don't think I would go to that much trouble.

I never got any rust protection on 2008 rdx. My 2008 RDX with 190k miles has seen a lot of salt and I did not do a good job washing it in winter.... 12 years later and there is no rust under the body, only muffler is a bit rusted. The car is not kept in a garage. It would have been a waste of money if I paid for rust protection.
