Road rage incident
Here in the Houston area (probably most everywhere else too) we've had a rash of very violent incidences of road rage. People being shot and killed.
Last Thursday, July 11th, day I encountered one of these road raging idiots. He abruptly changed lanes and hit the left front corner of my car causing him to spin out, which is only part I actually enjoyed. Luckily he didn't hit anyone else or make contact with the concrete barriers. He took off when I demanded to see his insurance. I caught the incident on my dash cam but sadly, can't make out the license plate well enough to go after the guy, not for lack of trying with both the PD and insurance company. For hose in the area, the shit happened on 59 south right where the lanes from Beltway 8 and 59 merge
My RDX is in the shop right now being repaired. Hope to get it back late next week.

Ouch. Sorry this happened, but I'm glad it was only property damage and not personal injury.
Gotta wonder if there's drugs involved, or it's just an epidemic of stupid.

The model of mine is Rexing. I wish I had a front/rear one.. might just get one like yours. The idiot I was unlucky enough to engage was tailgating me before he decided to do a side attack, flanking maneuver

That works 99% of the time. I have even started staying out of the fast lane even if I am doing 75.. they don't call it the Southwest Speedway for no reason. At 5:30 in the morning, it's crazy how they drive from where I live into the beltway.

Sorry for your loss. Too bad he didn't crash into the concrete barrier and explode into a giant fireball.
Almost two years ago, I passed a truck driver who was driving slow in the left lane. He didn't like that and ended up blocking me off at the next red light, getting out of his truck, threatening my life, and kicking in the door and roof of my months-old Civic Si.
My VIOFO A119S dashcam caught everything that was necessary to result in his termination from the trucking company the next morning, being charged with felony criminal mischief, and paying restitution.
Hopefully, there won't be a next time, but if there is just read the plate number so it can be heard on the dashcam's audio recording.

There are four lights!
It's amazing how some drivers can be the nicest people in the world, but behind the wheel, they're can behave like a spawn from hell.

^uhhhh road rage doesnt discriminate against race or gender.
it happens to ALL walks of life.
especially in a large city that has traffic. a lot of people come to Houston for job opportunities. these jobs and people create traffic. The stress of traffic leads to uncompassionate, inconsiderate people that leads to road rage

I know, if it had happened in NYC, I would have asked the same thing.
BTW, this is what I was talking about when I was discussing people cutting other drivers off and everyone was giving me the business and wondering why I was so upset at being cut off.

I'm pretty sure I always say what I want to say. What part of my first question was unclear to you? Like is your current claim that it was masked in deception and double-speak and you had to pierce through the fog in order to grasp my actual message? Because that would be hilarious.

He probably was, and he probably left so abruptly because he was trying to get back to his shithole country. /discussion

The person who damaged my Civic Si was a white male in his 40's born and raised in East Texas and had a long beard and tattoos and was wearing a tee-shirt with a confederate flag on it.
Most of the road ragers I encounter here in Northeast Texas seems to be 49% white men and 51% white women. I don't remember seeing many non-white road ragers.

So you are saying that people from other nations are more likely to commit road rage? GTFOH with that! Anyone is capable of road rage at any time. It's a stupid and inappropriate comment but I guess in this political climate people like you feel that it's ok to say stuff like this. It's not welcomed or tolerated. Take it to another platform!!

BTW, you probably don't even get what that means, so I'll explain. Notice how you can say "I was hit by a white guy in his 40s who was born and raised in East Texas (you apparently traced his lineage, if I am to believe this story) who had a beard and tattoos with a T-shirt that had a Confederate flag. And if you say that, notice how nobody cared, even though you managed to put in every stereotype you could think of? But if I ask simply if it was a citizen of another nation, you guys all dropped deuces in your pants and started making bizarre and hysterical claims. That's actually far more informative of you than me, although you think the opposite.

Damn! This went way off the rails!
The guy was Hispanic, most likely of Mexican heritage, but had no accent so I assume he was an American, born and raised. I do not affiliate road rage with race.. I see more aggressive driving by "white" people than any other, especially those with lifted trucks.. but now I am discriminating against those drivers!.. oh my!
Like Justn said, it's the big city attitude and Houston has no mass transit to speak of. I have met Justn, he's from Mars, as far as I can tell, I am from mars too

No, you didn't. I said "maybe that's how they do it in Russia but not in America." If you want to cry about that, go ahead, but at least tell people what it was and don't be girly about it. (And now you're going to claim that was also some gigantic insult.)

That's pretty amusing, particularly when Family Guy started out as trying to insult as many people as possible and made fun of political correctness and now people who are ultra-politically correct all cite this one image because it suits their needs.
