Rear View Mirror Question

This is probably the dumbest question asked on here, but does the rear view mirror tilt up and down at all? I'm not tall and I have the seat all the way down, but the mirror is still aimed to where I have to hunch a little to see through it. I tried tilting it, but it didn't really tilt and I didn't want to accidentally break it if it doesn't tilt.

it moves like every other mirror. Try gripping carefully and moving it around.

OK, thanks. That's what I assumed, but my mirror might be a little stiff.

It moves pretty much like every other rear view mirror you've ever had. At least every one I've ever had.

I suppose anything is possible. Maybe galling or binding has occurred from lack of use. But it should free up and become easier once you move it at all. There may be tension screws on the back.

Mine moves left and right easily, but didn't seem to move up or down. The rear window is relatively narrow, so I was like "wait, they can't possibly just have this aimed at the window and assume it only needs to be moved left and right ...?"

yea its like any normal mirror except it doesn't have that small little lever in the middle. I dislike how it has that blue tint on it, I wished it was more like the 2005 TL, that had the high beam adjustment but didn't have that blue tint, or at least it was all over the mirror. On the RDX you can see the tint on the outer later same with the side mirrors. very annoying in my opinion.

there is a button you can hit on the bottom of the mirror. hit it. does it do anything? I guess I will have to cruise into the 100,000,000 page manual to find out. Thank goodness its a pdf...

there ya go...from manual. When you are driving after dark, the automatic dimming rearview mirror and automatic dimming power door mirrors reduce the glare from headlights behind you, based on inputs from the mirror sensor. Press the auto button to turn this function on and off. When activated, the auto indicator comes on.

I did it. I must be missing something obvious (a Mr Obvious moment)
