Rear Seat Covers

I decided to use my Costco Auto Program’s one-time 50% off (up to $100) coupon on the Rear Seat Cover accessory ($149 + tax after the discount), which the dealership is special ordering for me and will be installing for me next Friday for $80.

Anybody else got it and how do you like it if you did?

I've been eyeing these as well and plan to get them early next year for the baby. Let me know how you like them after you get them installed.

Dang it. I had to cancel my Rear Seat Cover order and installation.

I have the Cargo Protector already (installed before I took delivery) and found out today you have to choose one (Rear Seat Cover) or the other (Cargo Protector)...can’t have both.

The only other accessory left I might be interested in using the Costco coupon on are the Running Boards and those suckers are expensive. The coupon’s $100 value would hardly make a dent.

What more important? Cargo cover or seat cover? Just remove the cargo cover if you would rather have the seats protected. Personally I do not let my kids have snacks or drinks in the car. They are 9 & 5 so old enough but still don’t want the mess.

You missed my saying Cargo Protector, not the Cargo Cover. I got the Cargo Cover, too, which wouldn’t have affected my getting the Rear Seat Covers. Oh, well. C'est la vie. 🙂

I am curious, why do you need rear seat covers? Do you have a child in a car seat, or an adolescent?

With a black floor, I am thinking of just keeping the regular carpets and not even getting the all weather ones. I got the all weather ones for my previous car because the carpets were beige, but these are black. My wife’s Accord is 4 1/2 years old, and her black carpets are still good. If either cars carpets crap up over time, I would replace them with new ones.

I know, overkill, right? When we travel and load up the cargo area with the seats down, there’s still lots of exposed leather on the rear seats, that’s all.

Oh, we also have two little dawgies, not unlike the size of the Yorkie in your profile (Pomeranians)...lol.

OK, little dogs I get, since big ones will go in the back. My daughters Golden and her Chocolate Lab go in the hatch area of her CR-V, but you don’t want little ones scratching up the leather.

I just have visions of my dad buying new cars with nice upholstery and putting them plastic covers on them. So we would drive around in a Buick, but sit on hot sticky or cold hard plastic instead of comfortable upholstery.

The cost of the oem ones are unbelievable, but the one thing the have over the cheaper universal one I got off amazon, is a split cover. This is good because you don’t have to unhook the back seat cover to lower the seats.
