Is this a good price to pay?
Hi,
I am new to the forum, so please forgive if this is not the right section to post. I am in the Bay Area of California trying to buy a 2019 RDX tech package SH-AWD. A dealer on my area gave me his best quote of $41,995 before tax+ registration. Is this a good price to buy or should I negotiate more? I don’t want to lose the vehicle if it’s a reasonably a good deal, however, I am not in a hurry to buy either (can wait for 2-3 months). Please advise. Thanks!

I strongly suggest that you ask the dealer to see the factory invoice so you have a better understanding of what the difference is between MSRP and Invoice. As MI-RDX stated above, if you are happy with the price then buy it but, personally, I never buy anything over factory invoice regardless of circumstance. You can always negotiate and can do better if you're good at it. My Grandfather told me when I was young..."negotiate everything...worse thing they can tell you is no". I have lived by that and it has done me well. Maybe get a few free accessories into the deal? You are in the drivers seat on your purchase...no pun intended
