Quickjack and the rdx
Hey everyone,
I am have just placed an order for an rdx, and was hoping someone with an elite platinum (or advance) could do me a favor?
Could you go out and measure the distance between the factory front side lift point and the rear side lift point? And for bonus points could you post a picture or two of the side lift points?
The reason I am asking, is I have a Quickjack 5000 lb lift and I am wondering if it will work on the rdx. It doesn’t on my 15 TLX (the side lift points are too far apart)
thanks in advance.

Just an update, the Quickjack 5000slx will NOT work on the 19 rdx. The lift points are 60 inches on center, but the 5000slx maximum lift spread is 60 inches. So I will be ordering the Quickjack Slx frame extension kit. It adds another 6inches to max lift spread. Enough to fully cover the lift points on the rdx.
If you only have an rdx, then you could just get the 5000ext and not have to worry about the extension.

Hate to dig this back up, but we just bought an RDX and I currently have the 5000 series QuickJack. I’ll be purchasing the extenders for it, but I don’t know what blocks to purchase. Are people using the square pinch weld blocks or the round pinch weld blocks, or will either work? My other 2 cars used jacking pucks, so the supplied blocks used to work just fine.

The quick jack works. Just need to make sure that you use the proper extensions for the bottom. I had to fiddle with it a bit to get everything properly centered. It was a bit on the edge for both side jack points.
I believe I just used the blocks the SUV extensions were too high and the jack points were on the edge of the round attachment so I didn't want to risk the round extensions flopping on its side.
