Depends on your location. Costco pricing on the 2019 has been available for me for a couple weeks already.

A lot of times, when a new redesign comes out, you'll be hard pressed to get a discount. It was the same way with the 2018 Accord redesign, Civic redesign, CR-V redesign, Odyssey, and Pilot. Same with Acura models. You'll have to give it a while. Best way to get any discount, give it a month then go on TrueCar. Working at a Honda dealer, I know what a lot of people(NOT EVERYONE) do when it comes to pricing and discounts on new redesigns.

But if it's a hot selling item, you might be hard pressed to get a discount on it if they're selling right at or just above sticker.

Just picked up my aspec

$45999 price for the car

Includes remote start, all weather mats, folding cargo tray and cargo cover, and wheel locks.

Got the loyalty credit obviously.

taxes, fees and such were roughly $2500

I also negotiated a better trade (got them up 1500).

So less my trade and a down payment that I was confortable with, Iím walking away a happy camper!

i didnít do any extras like warranty, doesnít make sense financially.

Deals are out there....ask and start bidding wars.

Not around here. I've been watching dealer inventory on-line and the only RDXs that are staying on the lot for more than a few days a base versions. Seems like any Tech, A-Spec or Advance has a buyer waiting as it rolls off the truck.

My dealer actually got the car a whole month early.. ihave no idea how lol but here is what the hitch look like. i didnt get the wiring because im only gonna use it for bike rack

Nope,, I am pretty sure the Costco pricing that you get is not after you click the Locate a Dealer button ..
I have tried different zip codes , from East Coast , Mid West and West Coast , and the all ended up with pricing not available for 2019 !!

Maybe , what you say is pricing is the website just showing the Invoice Pricing . If that's the case, it's useless ,, because its not what the Costco No Haggle pricing would be

You should buy from SoCal ,, the dealer was complaining he can not move the 2019 RDX because his manage does not want to budge on the pricing ..
Here we have a lot of selection on Tech , Advance and A spec ..
Maybe because we in SoCal are too jaded with what is a new car and prefer to wait until we get a good deal

On a local dealers website they are advertising over $1500 off MSRP. I emailed them and the sales guy was clueless. I had to link his own website. Maybe I can leverage my deal as I only have a deposit down as of now.

I too am curious. What zip are you plugging in Tomtwtwtw? (Note: there are a number of Costco members who would love to see a discount).

The finishing touch of the Costco Automotive Purchasing site is to put in your personal information and a dealer will contact you...If a discount is available. I think Costco and USAA are both waiting for those discount opportunities for their members...I’m not seeing it yet in Texas.

I should, but then I'd actually have to drive in SoCal.

It would make for a nice road trip -

LA to LV (have friends there),
LV to DFW (more friends there),
DFW to NO (I like NO),
NO to MS (family),
MS to NC (more family),
NC to MI (home)

its an AWD but yeah. $45999 plus the $2500 in taxes and fees. Minus the $1000 loyalty so before trade and down extra Down payment $47499.

Purchased 2019 Advanced RDX

I've been looking at every car in this class since April. Lots of research on the internet and YouTube reviews, then dealer visits and test drives. My heart said buy the Alfa Romeo Stilvio but I waited to see what the deal was with the new RDX. Test drove it the second day it was out and was sold on this was the car I wanted to buy. Easily $3,500 to $8,000 less than any other car that I considered comparably equipped. Second highest HP, the 10 speed transmission and the adaptive suspension in sport+ are awesome. The dealer wanted MSRP. I said never in my life and not starting now. The dealer finally offered $500 off but I wanted and got $1,000 of on a cash deal. No dealer added packages and no exobident back office fees. The dealer even tracked down the color combo I wanted and swapped a comprobale model from their inventory for it. I've had it one week and am very happy with the fit and finish, features, interrior and the performance . After its broken in I'll see what the real world mileage is but that wasn't my main consideration.

I tried to go through the Costco buying program but there were no qualified Acura dealers participating in their program in my State.

I was hot for the BMW X3 but could not get or order one with adaptive cruise control and associated driver aids due to no parts availability until maybe end of July. Audi Q5 had to be ordered to get driver assist package and that ment it would be a 2019 and I would have to pay MSRP less any programs that were in effect at time of delivery. Pretty unacceptable from both of these companies. Alfa has reliability issues and few dealers. Infiniti has a beautiful car and engine but a CVT transmission that mimics shifting. Also a horrible infotainment system. Jaguar had a lousy infotainment system and lots of quality and reliability issues. Porsche was smaller and a lot more expensive. The Advance has two things nobody else had, a spare tire AND a dip stick for checking the oil level. Every one of the brands mentioned above wanted $200 to $300 for an oil change and inspection. Acura sold me a prepaid service contract for 8 oil changes, tire rotations and inspections for $275!!! All in all buying the 2019 RDX was for me a no brained. Good luck to the rest of you wrestling with you decision.

Thatís what Iím seeing here. I went for a test drive yesterday. The dealership has one dedicated RDX Tech for test drives. I had to wait my turn to take it. The dealership recently sold their last Ď18. This was mid day, mid week, and by the time I got back, the floor model A Spec was sold, another couple came in to sign off and pick up an RDX while I was waiting for my test drive, and as I left, a young couple came in asking about the RDX.

I had time to chat with the salesman, and he said they only get AWD, and almost none of the people have a clue that it is a far different system. The dealership has a Honda dealership right next door, and the salesman said that most who come from there would not come if the Accord 2.0 had AWD.

These cars are flying out of the lot here. To be fair, this is a fairly affluent neighborhood, and we have hills and a fair amount of snow in the winter, so the RDX is a perfect car for here.

Doesn't look right for a car sold in NJ.

Car: $44,300.00
Tax (6.625%): $ 2,934.88
4 yr registration: $ 283.00
Title: $ 55.00
Doc Fees: $ 299.00
Total $47,871.88

Looks like an extra $1,883 was added by the dealer.

Seems like you should be the one offended.

I would be very straight with them regarding the actual numbers but also understand under most circumstances dealers are not dealing much on the RDX being it is so new. Take what you can get if you really want it.

Don’t worry about offending them. I was in a profession where we developed a thick skin: screw what the ‘customers’ say, do what you need to do according to management positions. You want to piss off the next ‘up’, or the boss who signs your check, gives you work assignments, and weighs-in on your future advancement? Car salesmen are on one side, you are on the other.

Go with a wingman who can do math. Ask about each line item, have your wife/friend/significant other checking as you go. This is not a conversation between friends; it is you, who negotiates car deals once every few years, and them who negotiates car deals once every few hours.

Did they sneak in any ADP (Additional Dealer Profit)? Or shit like VIN engraving or a ‘special’ paint wax? Know that these people have tried and true products, methods, and skilled people. Do your homework, and refuse anything that is sprung on you by the Finance Guy; work this out with your wingman, so he/she can see it coming, because in the moment, a $500 wax job with full Zombi Protection might be like, ‘yeah, I need that, I’ll be protected from the Apocalypse.’

The $995 destination charge is unavoidable but, there still seems to be an extra $888.
Still seems to be a good price, though.

I have been waiting for my color combo for a couple weeks now but its finally scheduled to be built at the dealer I came to terms with in Chicagoland area. Its the best deal I have seen thus far when you include the loyalty incentive ($1500 off MRSP plus 1000 loyalty incentive). You can email if you want the name of the sales rep and manager to work with. Car set to arrive July 18.
