Hey I am using USAA buying service in Fort Worth and Hiley acura shows $6000 off howwever when you get down and dirty with them they say that is the lease price and include military and loyalty. So BE CAREful with those clowns. Very shady. The Plano David McDavid actually gives a written quote with no tricks.
My results are about if you buy are $3000 off plus any loyalty and military etc. The lease cash is $2375 and I am tempted to simply lease then buy out later. You do eat an acquition fee in that case. In OK you do not pay tax again on a leased car you buy.

What kikd of APR are you all getting? I’ve been trying to talk to a few dealers locally and non will disclose theyAPR, me and my wife have 759 credit score history...and we can pay for the vehicle cash but sounds like it’s better to finance for a little bit....
#1728
Dealer make $ on the financing so negotiate as if you are paying cash. Once you get the final out the door cash price, then ask them about financing. If you commit to finance first then they get back the 0% on the negotiation.

Fuck. That.
Loaner cars are like rentals. Everyone is throwing it around and redlining it like a track car. I would never buy a car like that, especially one that never even got a chance to wear the engine in.

I bought an Acura MDX a few years ago CPO. It was definitely used by sales manager not the loaner fleet. Most people behave in a car.
I admit that I flog loaners for the grins of it. Not abuse but full on performance.
This needs weighted but with CPO and since that warranty transfers in private sale, I have always done well with that.

After striking out at the local dealership, I moved my efforts to searching in the Atlanta and Dallas markets. By just emailing the GM of a few large dealerships, their initial offers with delivery to my house were significantly less than the local dealer, who had a mindset that their price is their price and I walked.
Here is what I have to consider, let me know your thoughts.
2019 FWD Technology
MSRP - $41,595
Discount - $4,500
Loyalty - $1,000
$36,095 Before Taxes & Fees
Dealer Installed Options if Necessary
Protection Package - $990
Remote Start - $550
They will deliver it to me for a fee, but seems like a decent deal? Have a similar deal from another dealer in the Atlanta area, looking to pull the trigger today or tomorrow.

lease cash is 2375 extra if you want to go that route. You can always purchase the lease at any time and keep the 2375 which is offset by acq fee but still ahead.

Bought last night from Hiley Acura in Fort Worth, Texas.
2019 ASPEC SH-AWD, White with red interior
MSRP - $45,600
Discount - $3,100
Loyalty - $1,000
$41,500 Before Taxes & Fees
Financed at 3.5% for 60 months.
They had a protection package applied with paint protection, front window tint, wheel locks, all weather mats, and cargo mat that they wanted an additional $1,000 for. I told them I wasn't paying for it, so they removed the mats and cargo mat, but obviously left the tint, paint protection, and wheel locks. There was a lot of negotiation involved between three dealerships since there aren't very many ASPEC AWDs in Texas (I think 5 total), but it all worked out in the end.

Thoughts on this RDX A-Spec deal? Getting ready to pull the trigger. Also, any predictions on whether the loyalty incentive stays alive in May? Any chance it increases? Or just goes away?

No trade in. But I did talk to about 3 or 4 dealerships. I would think you should get way better than $1500 off MSRP.

My suggestion is to look at out of town dealers in Dallas or Atlanta, etc. They seem willing to deal more than some of the local dealers. They can provide the quote with delivery to your home in some cases, which may be less than what your seeing. It’s worth a try to email their GM and let them know what your looking for.

I get great quotes everywhere but at my local dealer. We have two in the state. I am sick of having to go to DFW for deals. I worked very hard today to pick up an 2019 Advance AWD. I have $1000 for current Honda, $750 military and $2375 Lease Cash. Problem was a tiny discount and all the dealer adds.
Looking elsewhere.

Where in SoCal? What dealers did you shop and which did you ultimately purchase from?
I’ve been reading this forum for months and am about to start my search. I’m in north OC but will be looking in LA, OC, IE and SD if necessary.

May incentives increased on lease: Lease cash is now $3175. Loyalty still there as well as military.
DFW dealers all about $7500 discount. IF YOU LEASE, have loyalty AND if you pay about $1000 in junk adds.
Many dealers will not discuss the lease cash It goes to them directly so your mileage may vary so to speak on how that may benefit you.
If a person leased, had a loyalty, and military. 7-8000 off is reasonable.
There is one catch. residuals are low and MF equates to over 5% interest. So you get hit after the sale.

Negotiating from SoCal We have kicked the tires and ready to buy, but also not a huge hurry...so being since we are sitting in the middle of the year wondering which way to lean? Thoughts? Advise? Haven't purchased a car in 11 years.
I have an offer from a dealer for $37,200 on a RDX FWD Tech. We do not qualify for the extra Acura Finance Bonuses (military, recent grad and loyalty (we have 2 older than 2008 Hondas) the same dealer would sell for $34,949 if we did. No add on, dealer doc $85, Tax and License extra. Not sure where to go from here...they have been very professional and transparent and all through email and in writing. Does anyone think there is more room will APR decrease a bit more for new? I am also taking into consideration that I will need to probably finance $20k of this with Acura Finance and that is at 2.99%. Was hoping to get to 36k, but they are not responding back either way. TIA.
