You basically pay all your payments up front which lowers your money factor (interest) to near 0 (or it should). You paid 3 years of lease payments in one lump sum and give the car back after 3 years or buy it out for the residual value.

It's one payment. You pay all 36 monthly payments at once. The advantage is you pay a much lower money factor (interest).

If the monthly lease payment is (as an example) $500 per month for 36 months, you just pay $18,000 up front.

I think you pay less interest (rent charge). Otherwise that is stupid. Especially if it gets totaled on day one.

Honda keeps renewing the $1,000 "competitor" and "loyalty" rebates. There's also a 2.9% financing for up to 60 months in addition to the perpetual $750 military discount and $500 college discount.

Honda doesn't offer consumer-level tracking, but dealers have the capability to see limited status updates such as "at rail yard" or "loaded onto transport truck" if they're willing to look. Not all dealers are willing, so they'll just keep giving you the date that it's scheduled to arrive. I've gone out on my own and obtained status updates from railroad companies using the VIN in the past and have been able to call various transport companies and get locations, but this involves a combination of luck and skill.

I was offerered 44500 Advance with SH-AWD back at the end of Oct from Pohanka (virginia)....think 1 other on here posted they were offered around 44000. Haven't pursued it further as I am going another route at this time.

I was offered 45290 in Tristate area for Advance SH-AWD, no negotiation, no rebates, or loyalty. I think I can do better in a few months.

I was offered OTD 45,043.14 FWD with A-Spec Package
online deal Dallas Texas no rebates, or loyalty.
Proposal did show GM did offer me 3500 discount.
I still think that price is garbage, they should be able to do better.
They believe it is selling like hot cakes, but I been checking and see the same car sitting for past 2-3 months

I would like my OTD price to be $41,952
I will continue negotiation and keep y'all updated.

I paid $54,200 CAD ($40,850 USD) for the Platinum Elite (Advance) with the majestic back pearl paint in Dec/18 in Victoria. That probably wont help you though cause it's up here in Canada.
