premium carpet mats, opinion.
I was looking on eBay at the OEM premium mat set and also saw some from Lloyd with the Acura logo embroidered. They look nice. Anyone order these? I have a set of all weather but want a nice carpet set for summer.
Just wonder if anyone got either one and your opinion.

are you talking the carpet floor mats that normally come with the car?

There is a premium set that is heavier than what came with the car, an Acura accessory. They are 16oz carpet and have gray banding and metal RDX badge. Lloyd mats are 32oz and have two styles of Acura logo to choose.

I was not aware of that, those sound like they would be really nice to have for summer

I've been thinking the same thing … the OEM mats are pretty chintzy compared to the 10 year old mats in my Lexus IS350. Lloyd's Mats has a web store with a variety of options. For the 48oz version the first customer review is from someone with an 2019 RDX and gives them 5 stars. The eBay posing is about the same price on Lloyds' mats.

I got a full set of Lloyd Luxe Mats: front, rear, and cargo.
They are more expensive but, much heavier and much nicer than the OEM Deluxe mats.
They sent me color samples and I felt that 'Ebony' was the best match to the carpet.
I really love them and can hardly wait for Spring to swap out the all-weather set for the Luxe mats.
In addition to perfect fit and feel, they add another layer of sound deafening.

Good carpet mats enhance the look of the interior and, has been mentioned, provide a bit more sound deadening. Weathertechs are fine if you don't mind having a pickup truck bed liner on the inside.

I guess it kind of depends on what part of the country you live in too, I live in Minnesota so it’s snowy 1/3 the year with water and salt all over and getting into the cars floor, and the spring summer and fall are humid and rains a bit with mud, then you have places like Cali that are dry and warm and don’t get a lot of precipitation where carpet would work great all year round

The OEM all weather mats are in the car currently.
The Lloyd mats are under the bed for Winter.
Here are some pix.
I tried to feature the cloth binding any the rubberized backing.
There are holes for the locking devices and they fit perfectly.
I was going to add the Acura logo to the cargo mat but, I don't fell like it's worth an extra $88. The Acura name is $50 each.

I bought lloyd mats for my MDX. I bought the car used and it had Acura all-weather mats, but I prefer carpet all year, even with CT winters. First thing I did when I bought the car was to get Acura's carpet mats (since I liked the ones that came with my '05 TL...thick and stayed looking like new even after 100k miles), but was very disappointed by how thin and flimsy they were. Bought the Lloyds mats through AutoZone (bought "black" but should have bought "ebony") and have been happy with them over the last 30k miles with them. They closely resemble the mats that came from Acura in my TL, nice and thick and what "carpet" should look like, as opposed to those cheap thin mats that come with cars now. Between having a garage and tapping my feet off as I get into the car, I never have an issue with mud or salt accumulating on the carpet (they vacuum off well and have stayed looking good/black over the last 3 years without being washed). There's some wear under my heel by the gas pedal, but not too bad...worse than my OEM '05 TL mats, but still acceptable for today's standards. I'd buy Lloyds mats again before OEM mats now. FYI, I bought the "Ultimat".
