Sounds like a fast clicking sound.
If you can gear it with the hood opened, I don't understand why your dealer did not want to help you.

That is not a normal sound. Like the other said something is not tightened down. Could be a loose trims, panels, or metal running against each other. Is the sound only coming from the left front dash? Find another Acura dealer. Put a case in with Acura if the dealer is unwilling to help. PM me I might be able to help with reaching out to Acura. You can put a case in to Acura using the AcuraLink App.

that noise is not normal, you may have to be a bit more stern with your dealer, I have chewed out our Honda dealer before and every time I go in there with my fiancé now they seem scared of me 😂

What's odd is, if it's something loose in the dash area or trim, etc. etc., then I'd expect to hear it more than just at start up. Over bumpy road, etc. Have you shown the video with sound to the dealer?

Or, when you at the dealer where you bought the car, ask them to show you another RDX and see if you can hear the same noise. I can tell you that mine does not have that noise.

The question is, if it changes according to the engine rpm change, and if it becomes maybe louder/more intense at higher rpm, than you may have some internal mechanical issue. In the other hand, if it despaired at higher rpm and comes back when engine goes to idle, than it could be something lose that makes ticking sound caused by engine vibration.
