No signal, no GPS, no Apple Car Play, seems Infotainment crashed

Hi everyone,

This is second time my RDX 2019 got that issue. When driving this today morning, all audio, Siriusxm or FM radio, apple carplay not working, only navigation with GPS partial working. The screen didn’t turn off when closing the driver door.

First time, i reported to Acura CA, but they said they didn’t detect any issue.

I already upgraded to latest version which was released few days ago.

Does Anyone get same issue? and how could you get it fixed?

Thank you.

This happened once to me. It is a increasing issue reported among owners of the 2019 RDX. You can either pull the fuse to the infotainment system (there is a thread here on how to do it). I disconnected the cord to the negative terminal on the battery to restart it. Acura needs to come up with a patch for a very glitchy software.

In first time of issue, i left the car and the screen turned off itself in approx 2 hours.
Second time, i accessed to system mode (not sure if i call it correctly) by pressing three buttons on touchpad, then the screen turned off after few seconds.

What is this 3-finger salute I've seen referenced in threads. Is it in the manual? What does it do and what is it for?

ETA:
Never mind. I just found the video in another thread.

Sometimes you have to do it twice.
