New 2019 RDX Pickup Checklist
Being the '19 RDX is a first year vehicle and there is a lot going on in terms of technology and features, I wanted to start a thread that gives users a centralized place to list items that should be checked upon pickup of their vehicle. I'm picking up my White/Espresso Advance this week so I'll be giving her the once over. So far, I've IDed the following:
1. Moaning/groaning sound from tailgate when opening closing.
2. Carpeting in drivers side footwell making crackling/popping noises
3. Distorted rearview mirror
4. Various infotainment issues: Screen overheating, shutting off, frozen, flickering, touchpad not working
5. Harsh shifting 2nd to 3rd
6. Unable to open hood latch
7. Poorly set rear exterior door molding
8. Panoramic roof auto open close not functioning
9. Acuralink not activated
10. Incandescent bulbs mistakenly installed for rear turn signals instead of LEDs

So if you experience any of these when preparing to pickup the RDX, what will you do during the delivery process?
I know that users have reported 1., 4, 5, 9 but I had not seen the other issues you are mentioning in other post. If they are listed it must be very limited.

Burning Brakes
The one thing I always look for is any physical damage (paint chips, scratches, etc.) so it can be noted as being present at delivery, and repaired on the dealer's/manufacturer's dime and not mine.

It'll be a tough call depending on the issue-on one hand you want the car and on the other hand you don't want to have one with issues. All of the problems noted are either from the problems and fixes threads or the One Pack videos.

Adding Check tire pressure to the list. Just had a friend get a RR sport that was identical to his last one except for the wheels and tires which were smaller on the new one. The ride was now firmer and he was baffled. Checked the tire pressure and bingo---it was at +9-10 for each tire. Let some air out to get it to spec and it was night and day difference.Common occurrence for dealerships to over inflate to avoid flat spots on tires after prolonged periods sitting on lots.

If you are getting Lunar Silver, be sure to check the paint job from ALL ANGLES if you can. My Lunar Silver paint job has mottling (blotches) just below the windows on both sides. Can only see it from certain angles. I noticed it three days after I purchased mine. The Acura rep tried to play it off as insignificant because it isn't visible from all angles. He finally agreed to "run it by someone else." Earlier this week I received word that Acura's official stance is that it's not defective and I'm sh*t out of luck. I'm furious.

I guess I am lucky so far none of those issues and I even sent a map to my car from phone and turned on the motor from inside my office. I am loving mine. Though there was a rattle on the passenger side door until i realized someone had put a thing of gum in the door pocket, removed rattle gone.
