My rdx platinum elite has arrived...

I took delivery of it yesterday afternoon. it took from last week of August from deposit to delivery.

Performance red pearl is fantastic when clean. I am taking it in this morning for some stone guard, window tint, and vinyl wrap (to black out the chrome).

delivery was a little challenging due to a lack of communication from the business office, and the rdx needed some additional detailing, it looked like some scratches/marring on the paint, but it buffed off and was probably a bit of shipping sticker/wrap residue.

I did notice, a bit of condensation in the passenger side signal light, and the front passenger door does make a squeak/groan when opened (it sounds like rubber rubbing against rubber).

Will need to take it in to fix the door noise and will keep an eye on the signal light.

My guy to do the ppf and tint didn’t have time today to do the chrome. But he did get a good look and quoted 450 to wrap them. We discussed gloss or matte and he recommended deep black satin.

I will take some pictures when I get it back today...

Sorry no pictures yet... the rdx was immediately dirty after driving off the lot due to the early foot of snow we got last Tuesday, and the film installer didn’t do a complete wash and only washed the areas that got the ppf. Now I can’t wash it for a couple of days...

here is a picture i took before driving off the lot that shows the depth and pearl effect of the perf red paint...

Oh, and was going to run the car back to the dealership today to look at the door noise, but last night when I picked it up from the film installer, the door was quiet. So will move that to the keep an eye on it list.

The car looks great! The red really shines nicely. Odd to see the snow in the background, but then again you are up north.

Congratulations!

Thanks I am liking it.

Alberta Canada... we had the snowiest single October day in 104 years on Tuesday this week... ~12 inches in a 24 hour period and we are supposed to get three more days of snow starting tomorrow.

Wow! Ok, I'm in Mississippi, USA!!! Ok, we had 8 inches last December that didn't stick, then had 2-3 inches that did stick and boy, that was hell... I nearly slid off the road twice in my 2007 RDX with Bridgestone Duhler Alanza H/L tires... Had NO traction whatsoever... I hope to put Michelin Premiers on it, just got a set on my 2011 Kia Optima, and love them...

Were still 90 day 70 night, don't know how that measures in celcius, but its a little above average... Hope we don't snow again, I'm only 2 hours north of NOLA!

Sorry, but the mere though of snow makes me sick right now...

Also, I think there is a large fallowing of members there in the Alberta/Edmontion area... Don't mind me asking, but hace you been a member long?
