Google Satellite Maps on RDX via Carplay

Has anyone gotten used the Google Satellite Maps via Apple CarPlay on the RDX ? I love the maps/nagivation in the Tesla and Audi's and I am pretty sure you can now get Google Satellite View maps in the RDX with Carplay.

It works fine. I use the satellite view when i use Google Maps all the time.

I tried it once. It worked fine. It was quite interesting to see exactly what's around you as you drive. However, the extra info you get from Waze makes the satellite view a novelty.
