Yep, that's right over $3K per gallon - for touch up paint.

I'm a believer in having it on hand when I need it so I stopped by the dealer to pick some up today. $12.64 (pre tax) for .25 ounce of color and .25 ounce of clear works out to the number above.

Still cheaper than the same thing for my Cadillac where I got gouged for over $28 because of the custom 'tinted' clear coat.

It's worth it. I've touched up a few scratches on my '16. Works great.

Absolutely, first thing I buy for any car. My comment was just a 'tongue in cheek' about the cost relative to what you get - probably the most expensive 'accessory' you'll buy.

Consider yourself fortunate. I paid $19-something for my WDP (same as yours).

i still haven’t found a good method to apply it. I looked at brushing it over the area, working it into the pit then using acetone or alcohol to clean the surrounding area but I’ve been too chicken to try.

How do you apply it?

I’ve had pretty good results using Langka products. They have a repair kit which includes a blob eliminator to smooth the “blob” you get using touch up paint, then seal the repair. It’s good for small nicks.
