Door Brackets already rusting

I know the doors wear from opening and shutting, and I live in Minnesota where they use a lot of salt. But should these already have rust on them? I’ve only had the thing for 3 months

Unless there is plastic in the rotation area, use white lithium grease. Silicone spray if there is plastic.

I am in Los Angeles and there is no grease/lube that I can see on those hinges on all the doors. I did spray garage door lube on them, opened and closed them a few times, and wipe off the residue.
