Does your dealer have one yet?
How about a thread where members list where they actually saw one (or more) at their local dealer, even if it was for a quick "Show and Tell", or even better, as a car that was going to be sold at that dealer. So far I've seen members post about seeing them in Colorado and Brooklyn, but a thread with all sightings in one place would be helpful, no?
Once they are widely distributed, this thread would obviously be moot. But for now............!!! WHERE ARE THEY??

I got a call that one will be at Reading Acura on Thursday and Friday in Reading Pa. I’m trying to go at lunch or after work.

Nobody "has them" yet. Just the "Zone" cars traveling around as stated in another thread. I am sure it will be posted when they are slated to arrive as many on the forum have pre-orders so will be informed as they get close to delivery..

I always wondered where the produced cars sit. When the Accord was manufacturing 1,000 per day that required some efficient movement. That was, until the end of the four door sedan era.
The RDX is likely no where near full production of what 1,000 per week?. 300 dealers in USA. Three on average per week delivered soon. Parking lot, trains, trucks they sit. A guy with a drone could find out some nice facts near the factory I imagine.

It always takes some time to ramp up production, identify and work out the kinks, then get the line moving. Having spent most of my career in an operations environment, getting a new program up to speed is always a challenge, but once the little quirks are identified, and the people know what to do, things smoothe out. Assuming, of course, you had talented engineers working on the details, along with the typical errors and imprecisions in the tech manuals.

I was able to sit in one today in PA. Very nice car. I will upload pictures tonight. Sales person was just trained this morning, so there is a little bit of a learning curve. But I was impressed. The touchpad was great. I would think after a few days it would be second nature to operate. It was an Advance model, so it was fully loaded. Red with parchment interior. I think the interior is much nicer than the Q5. Salesperson said the base model will be the same price as the 2018 base. He said the transmission is butter smooth. Also said that the TLX-S will debut next summer, but said he didn't think a full remodel would be included, just a newer more powerful engine with Aspec like cosmetic updates. Not sure about that. I would think the head unit would be all new like the RDX.

This car is so ridiculously good-looking inside and out, and from absolutely any angle. Great job by Acura.

I love the white color but also want something that shows the nice body lines and angles. The white color just hides all that. Seems like silver is always the best color for highlighting lines.

I don’t know. I think it just looked really sharp. Everything felt so new yet familiar. I was really impressed with the touch pad and screen. I really liked it

I just received an RSVP invitation for the new RDX’s unveiling event at an area dealership on June 4th. There’s going to be a presentation on all the features of the car + “great food, fun, and libations.” I think by then lots of information would’ve come off embargo, but still looking forward to it...sounds like fun!

”may I offer you a libation?” “Certainly sir, unless it is the cheap crap”. “Nothing but the best. Would you prefer ‘night train’? The vintage is a very good week.” “Absolutely, a fine heritage.”

May 31st...After Acura's May 29th pricing release
My dealer will have it's first shipment on May 31st. Apparently they are sitting in a lot in the Denver area. Waiting for the May 29th Acura announcement of pricing, etc.
Hoping my white/red A-Spec is part of that first shipment. If there I will check them out and decide IF it's worth buying at this time.

Very true. The dealerships I've talked to have said the same thing. Lots of deposits (a.k.a. first dibs), sight unseen...

I've got my name on a Black Advanced SH-AWD drive with black interior. Should be in around a few weeks, I have no financial commitment to it yet but I was the first to put my name down back in February.

I dropped by my local Acura dealer in the Atlanta area yesterday and spoke with them about the 2019 RDX. They didn't have one at the dealership, but said they would arrive the first week in June. They also told me there would no incentives for the first 6 months or so, and would be sold at sticker price. They gave me a copy of the "2019 RDX Trim Walk" sheet, which detailed the features in each trim level (base, tech, A-Spec and Advance).

show up up between Christmas and New Years and if sales disappointed, they might bite. Otherwise, give it 9 months instead of six.
(If 9 women can make 9 babies in 9 months, why can’t we throw more resources at the problem and have 9 women make one baby in one month?)

Which is why I scoff, scoff, at the Infiniti calling for 50K. With an untried engine and a CVT, no less. I see the RDX as low to mid forties. A chunk above the Toyota, Mazda, Honda crowd, and a chunk below the BMW, MB, Audi crowd. It has the good 2.0 turbo and the advanced 4WD system to hang with the Audis and MB folk, but it is still an Acura with an Accord engine and transmission. Plus there is that badge, which has not been actual luxury over the years.

Totally agree. Their pricing is way too high...even if it runs $50K and over...Acura has them beat in many areas. I'm going to try and find out IF that top figure of $61,995 is for real. I find that beyond nuts for that SUV!

Unloading truck right now
My GM text me pics of the truck unloading the RDX's...he was so excited to finally get them. They were close...at a holding lot waiting for Acura to disclose all the pricing and specs, etc, today.
More are coming tonight, tomorrow, this week.
That white/parchment Advance is totally super nice....but, that MSRP is not!!

I don't think my closest dealership (Chevy Chase, MD) has any to come see yet. They are doing an open house I just received an invite for on the evening of June 4th. Cocktails, beverages and a ticket to check out the new RDX live and in person. Timing is tough for me with life/wife/kids responsibilities, but I'm hoping to swing by.
