I saw in one video where CarPlay is added in the App list in the HUD interface, at 0:19, however, the driver didn't click it and didn't show the details.

I couldn't find anything video or even a paragraph describing the CarPlay over HUD but I think that's really important... CarPlay is one of the most important filter when I started browsing my next car and it filtered out all Infinitis easily lol

If there's anyone else interested in this topic, I might do a video just showcasing the CarPlay interface in HUD after getting my Plat Elite this Friday.

I'm so frustrated that it seems nobody cares about this function which I believe is really important lol

I tried it this morning, it's nothing to write home about. Choosing ACP in the HUD just brings up ACP in the centre screen. You aren't able to control ACP through the HUD, you will still need to use the touchpad to navigate around the screen.

The song name will appear on the HUD. You can also change tracks using the left scroll wheel. I haven't tried using Apple Maps or Google Maps through the HUD.

Your song name appears on the HUD for more than just a couple seconds?? Mine shows current song then disappears

Maybe a second or two, then it disappears.

Google / Apple Maps over car play does not display any directions in the HUD.

I don't know if there is any brand car that shows turn by turn from carplay in the HUD?

My guess is it would probably require Google / Apple to make changes to the apps and then also Apple to make changes to Carplay on both the iphone end and the car end. And probably Acura make changes to their software as well.

But it would be a great feature.
