Go in to settings, general, and then Car Play. From that screen you should see the icons and you can rearrange them from there. When you plug your phone back in to the car later you will see the changes. You can also delete any app from that screen if you want.

My bad I left out a step, after you click on car play you should see your car listed below, click on it then you will see the a small version of the car play screen. From there rearrange the icons or delete some. Plug your phone into the car are you should see the changes.

The thing I really like about Apple CarPlay is if you have a dual-sim iPhone, there are two separate signal strength indicators on the car’s screen, just as there is on the phone itself.

Now if we could use CarPlay to select which line to dial out from and if CarPlay could tell us which line is being called, that would be perfect.
