Got an Acura RDX 2019 advanced recently and while going through the features list, observed that it has ambient lighting.
After exploring a bit, figured out that there is pale white light near interior door handles and in the leg space of front seats which is barely noticeable. Is there any way to increase the brightness?
checked the ambient lighting in TLX model and its really nice with thin strips at the center console and cup holder area, how difficult is it for Acura to extend the same features to RDX?

Also, i noticed that there is a setting to light up the external door handles in some cases? any idea when and how to get this activated

I know.. Acura went wrong with these lights .. specially door lights an no 2nd row door lights..

There are a few curious omissions on the 3G RDX for sure. Ambient lighting being the main one. I'm sure it will get addressed in the redesign.

Q5 lets you pick 64 colors and lets you change the top and bottom ambient lights to different colors.

Some here would argue that the lack of power folding mirrors is the main one (in the US).

Speaking from a Canadian perspective, but yes in the states the power folding mirrors or lack thereof would be my main issue.

Acura will soon offer changeable ambient lighting cause that's what the EU brands are doing and Acura looks up to them.
