^i have brembo calipers up front and the regular 2 piston out back.
the rears wear waaaaaay faster than the fronts.
I just replaced the rears with stoptech pads, and I went with Hawk ceramic pads this time around.
not expecting any kind of difference....maybe a better initial bite.

Interested to hear your thoughts, I've used HAwk HPS and HP+ pads. HPS are great for street use, minimal dusting and great initial bite. HP+ ALOT moarrr bite and can take prolonged braking more, however lots of brake dust!! I was going to experiment with Porterfield RS4's next time.

^nice, yep, the HPS' are the ones I bought.
I didnt see an option for the "ALOT" ??
i see "pc- performance ceramic"
"ht- high temp"
and "DTC - dynamic torque control"
pads.
P.s. I like you already. since we both like performance stuffs!
edit* i understand now.. the "HP+" pad is the one that is more aggressive.

haha thanks!! I enjoy racing so I'm always experimenting with different parts, I use to go through 4 sets of street tires a year in my S2000. I usually like bare bone vehicles but alas I'm about to get married so I got the TL as my first family sedan that I can still have fun in. It's nice to run into performance people in the nose heavy, leather filled, quite cabin, and refined sedan world, not many out there...
So we'll get along just fine
I'm going with a stoptech brake kit for the Vette whenever I recover from this wedding and honeymoon. I'll have to also rebuild the caliper pistons, I'm getting horrible vibrations from the front passenger wheel at 120+. I think I toasted the rotors on my last Twisted Sisters and TWS adventure. Constant heavy braking from 100mph+ on stock corvette brakes killed the rotors and toasted the brake caliper. Pads and fluid are fine
