San Antonio Tx members?

Question for members in San Antonio, Tx?

Hello guys, I just moved to San Antonio Tx and need all the help I can get. I'm just say what I need and I would like to know where y'all get your parts for reasonable price. Acura TL 08 91641 miles, yea it's my daily driver car.

* Timing belt and water pump
* Spark plugs
I'm asking for these two parts just to have them for when needed.
* starter
* alternator

I depend on this car as my daily driver and I would appreciate where y'all buy your parts and any shops with reasonable rates. Gunn Acura charges me over $1,000 for timing belt and water pump

Thank you.

I don't ever order anything unless its OEM, with that being said, your best bet is to order the stuff you need online. I frequently purchase parts from the following threads

https://acurazine.com/forums/sponsored-sales-group-buys-10/group-buy-anything-oem-796482/

https://acurazine.com/forums/sponsored-sales-group-buys-10/now-save-even-more-844334/
Use the codes to get half off on shipping located in the thread.

Both vendors are great and if I have a question, like what bolts, nuts ect I need to swap out my cats, they will email me an invoice back in PDF format, and attach schematics.

On your spark plugs, I can't remember what website to get them from, but you can use a coupon to the said website and get all 6 for about 40 dollars. Google the site spark plugs Acura TL Acurazine

Also check out the San Antonio thread, located in the regional threads, where are a couple of people that meet up once a month for Cars and Coffee or something like that.

I havn't been in San Antonio for 4 years, but will be moving back in the middle of August so I really couldn't tell you where to go to get a good deal on the labor charge. I know up here in Tacoma WA, I took my car in for the B14 service at a Honda Dealership, which was 300 dollars cheaper than the Acura dealership for the exact same parts

Congrats Welcome to AZ! Check out the 3G garage for tons of info. Also register your TL at www.myacura.com in the USA or https://www.myacura.acura.ca/ in Canada. Save your Navi and Radio codes there. Check for any recalls your TL may need.

Welcome.
Yeah the link IIDXholic gave you to the oem parts group buy thread has some damn good deals. $260 for the timing belt kit is a steal.

I probably shoulda bought my parts from there. I have an 07 TL-S daily driver as well. Got the timing belt kit done at 110k miles. I paid a lot more than 260 for the parts but I still only ended up paying about $750 after parts/labor.
All the parts are from Gunn Acura... 57.27 timing belt, 132.33 water pump, 105.59 tensioner, 27.76 serpentine belt, 5 hours of labor at 75/hr. I only take my car to Foreign Affair in Schertz cause they are honest and trustworthy and good people.

I bought the full OEM timing belt kit minus the timing idler pulley on ebay for around two hundred something from a dealer in another state shipped; & black market usually has some... as for spark plugs as mentioned you should search azine for that online coupon code...I just bought a new starter from autozone for like $120? Was literally two bolts...hope this helps...
