Alright folks.. i need a lil input lol. Im stuck and confused.
Whoever was at justin's that day we installed coilovers remembers how we adjusted them to go lower right?
Loosen perch c and then use the key to twist b all the way till perch c hits the bottom again, THEN we tighten it.
BUT TODAY me and a couple buddys said fuck it and went to lower my car some more.
One thing was different though.. they were telling me the way i was trying to lower it was wrong. *The way we did it at justins* so they loosened perch A and B but kept C tight. They lowered perch B down and then lowered perch C and tightened both of them.
So which way is right? What we did today did lower the car but the way we did it at justin's lowered the car also LOL. SO WHICH WAY IS RIGHT? I am a confused ass nga right now..

A/B that is for preload. I wouldnt mess with that unless you knew what you were doing. C is the only one you should mess with for height adjustement. A/B will stiffen or loosen tension on the spring. I usually back it out until no preload and go from there...add as needed pretty much.

Im ghetto but it works...I use a tape measure to measure out all the springs and set the preload with that. Then I adjust the height afterwards with collar C. All I can say is go measure from top to bottom of spring and see what they are at. Try to get them as close as you can then adjuste your height accordingly by measuring between B and C.
If your ride is too soft you can attempt by adjusting the dampening first...if it is too soft then i would tighten collar A half to a full turn and test. If its the other way around do the opposite and then obviously readjuste the height accordingly. I do not know your spring rates on your setup so I cannot give you a direct answer on how much to turn.
I have my preload turned up a bit in the rear along with a stiffer dampening setting so my car rotates in corners. The soft has a little bit of preload along with softer dampening. It seems to work pretty well driving around but I have to go to a road course to see if its correct.

so i was thinking of selling my car to get an E55 AMG...found one with only 15,000 miles...putting 560whp with a carlsson upgrade from the dealership...still debating but idk if i shud get rid of the G or not since it has a new motor...and the car is just about to be paid off in a couple of months..it would be nice to have another car but i'd rather have an NSX then the E55...
