Houston Meet - June 26, 2016 - Official Un-official Meet and Creep
By popular demand, I've made this standalone thread because I don't really know how to internet and tacked on the original information to the H-Town main thread but someone smarter than me (Nemowuner) suggested a new thread it's a good idea so here it is this is a long run-on sentence on purpose.

I'm currently figuring June 26, 2016 (that's a Sunday) at the Coffee and Rice get together at Tout Suite downtown-ish near Minute Maid park. I went a year (or two?) ago and gawked like a dumbass at some of the nifty cars. So I thought maybe I'd go again. And this time I'll bring a box of donuts to share with any AZine members that show up.
Since it's a pre-existing meet (they call it that; guess they don't know meat) I'll look less weird if no one else shows up (lookin' at you justn!). Well, I mean, as "less weird" as a stock wagon dude with a box of donuts will look at a meet full of "tyte cars". But I'll have donuts to console me, so it won't be all bad.
Most of the cool kids park under the I-69 underpass and the lame wannabes like me have to park out in the lot next to the underpass. Since there isn't a whole lot of space under the bridge, and I'm a loser, I'll just pull into the chode-lot and pull out the box of donuts.
So mark your calendars. And come meat some other dipshits. Hopefully.

In the mean time, I've just been carrying a small bucket filled with tepid water and an old rag I found by the dumpster. When it gets too hot I soak the rag and use it to wipe the back of my neck and face.

I'll actually be in Houston that Sunday. However at 10am I will still be about ~400 miles away. I'll be getting into Houston probably around 4 and driving back to Dallas immediately. If anyone wants to meet up for just a few minutes in the evening near I-10 in west Houston or somewhere along 45 north I can make that work.

I'm not sure there's really an "end" to the meet. I think they usually say 10:00 - 12:00, but the one time I went in the past it seemed pretty transient. A lot of folks just coming and going.
I'm figuring I'll try to get there right about 10 and will play it by ear depending on if anyone shows up and/or what other cars are there to dork around with. If it's hot as balls as it has been, I doubt I'll last much past 1:00.
@wackjum says "he'll have to see" about showing up. Which, I know from my formative years trying to talk to girls, means he's not going to show up but he doesn't want to hurt my feelings. So I'm preemptively putting him in the friendzone of the no-shows.
