Here are the photos. I can't keep my foot out of it, it sounds so good. I also can not believe all the crap I took out. I don't see how the engine got any air before.

nice Bluesman. A red coupler would look cool, but the black one is barely noticable.

Thanks guys. My man is working on the coupler and the hose. I covered the one in the picture with plastic ribbed stuff. The details count.

Although I am tempted to say I normally use the rubber ribbed stuff, I am actually going to ask WHERE you got your plastic version?

Well, the wrong color (anthracite) wheels are in route back at their expense. I hope to have the right color wheels (silver) someday...

They are being pretty nice about it. They immediately said it was entirely their fault. No freebies yet, however!!! By the way, I picked up some plastic split tubing at PEP Boys. I was looking for some for my home speaker wires. I am using it on my surround speakers where the wire goes down the speaker stand. Now it will look a little more finished.

they don't call me a post whore for nothin!

I have my outlook minimized for company reasons, so i'm always getting notified of posts immediately.

I might just go with a Nissan filter. They are surprisingly very good and I can get them for about $5 (normally $11). I will definitly go with the 5w30. My engine seems sensative to different weights and I'd be a bit skeptical about putting 0w30 in an 8 yr old motor.

If you've got AIM, hit me up yaba00. It would be easier and faster. Or email at csim@irvingtool.com.

Thanks

Don't know anything about Nissan filters but if their anything like Honda's you better off using STP,,, check this tear down that Todd from Grapevine did.

http://www.ntpog.org/reviews/filters/filters.shtml

I use Amsoil oil filters because they market them for 12k miles or one year,,, everyone else wants your to change at 3-4k miles,,,

Presently I change my oil every 10k and the filter every 5k.... but I send it to the lab and have it analysed,,,

If you want oil I keep it at my house,, it's just the filters that I have to pick up because of the many models,,,

There is a guy at www.motorvate.ca and he's just an average guy and compared the nissan one to a standard FRAM filter and showed how it was much better. Plus, all of our boosted ppl (including 500+hp Max) all use the Nissan one, so I think it should suffice.

mantis & Inferno, if you're still looking at upgrading your brakes, there is a Rotora big brake kit group buy here. I don't know the size of the rotors, but the price is $1349.00 shipped.
