If anyone can help me suggest a nice place for her to look at living, I sure would apperciate it.

Thanks a bunch,

The ride is good! Got full exhaust, intake, front mount h/e, and s2 so far. Good for about 250 to the wheels and mid to high 13s. Nothing compared to your beast!

I work out in Ft Worth and live in Southlake. But where I work is on the border of Keller and Ft Worth. Ft Worth is pretty big, so I'm not sure what part of Ft Worth your sister will be working in. Downtown Ft Worth itself seems pretty safe to me from the times I've hung out there. But I'm no expert as I moved here from California.

I'm sure you'll get better advice from someone that knows the area by hand.

Sweet deal, can't wait to see it. I heard from the shop saying that my heads are alright (not leaking). Which is great news to me because I really thought I messed them up hitting 8k by accident on the nitrous in the rain. I came off the line as a joke against my friends Evo (this happened back when I lived in Cali) on the bottle after it had rained and literally 1/2 a second later my tach hit 8k. I didn't have any time to react as it was too late.

So I should be picking up the car tomorrow. I'll tow it over to Jotech, have them do another leak down compression test, and if it looks good I'll dyno it again.

I'm retiring the bottle, and will work on getting that turbo kit installed after all that. I'm not going to do another bottle run on the dyno. I'll just go off of my last run on the bottle to approximate what a new run on the bottle would have put me at.

I actually suggested Southlake and Downtown to her. She has been living in San Fran for over 15 years now.

hey bud, not much.

just still in school out in Lubbock. heading to houston/DC/OC soon for some away rotations.

hopefully I'll get a chance to come back to Dallas when you guys have a meet sometime and see some of those CL-S 6MTs. I miss my CL-S big time although the SC I'm getting put on today should help squash some of that grief from mising it

Compared to SF I'm assuming even Downtown Dallas is nada. Our family just moved from N. Dallas area up to San Diego. Talk about a change in property value!

Whew . . . what a day! - But it was productive

Let's see . . I got my body work done, grill mods done, most of my light bulbs changed out (still need the chrome turn signal bulbs),
intake mods done and new motor mounts in - oh yeah, and the yard work done too!!

Anyway, here are some pics of the grill mods I did. I ended up leaving the fogs in, but made a grill cover for it. I also cut out
that fake openings on the very bottom and put grill inserts there as well. But there was too much custom work to take the fogs
out and make it work right, but I like the look.

I got new Artic-white fog bulbs, PIAA LED sidemarker bulbs (note clear the head lights), new SilverStar HyperWhite High beams -
I couldn't get the chrome turn signal bulbs, so I still have that yellow reflection from the OEM bulbs -
I have to order them since no one local carried them. I'm holding off replacing the HIDs until they go . . . a bit broke after all this.

If anyone used the "lastpost" command as part of saving the link into AZ here is how it works. I use this when I go to our DFW thread so I go right to the end and read the more recent stuff...

Went there a couple months ago for the first time in a couple years...

-Mr. Freeze is old :/
-Titan still give you a rush (if you don't black out on that first drop)
-Giant is more jerky/rattley than ever (you will literally start having back/neck problems for life when you get off)
-Batman still ok
-But there is that new Tony Hawk roller coaster that like spins you as you go on the track? - looks not too shabby.
-The WORST ride is that rocking ship
Oh and I'm guessing the lines won't be as bad as usual because kids are now back in school.
...just my input...

but uh how about D&B

Exclamation Update

Well new update for everyone. LMAO I'm still moving to FLORIDA or (gods waiting room) at least thats what ETHAN calls it. The update is I got rid of the TC yea i know it was short lived and didnt even get plates for it LOL. I needed to get rid of Samantha's G6. I tried AUTOTRADER, newspaper, even big huge FOR SALE signs and nothing worked. So i finally traded it in. Volkswagon was having a pretty sweet deal on no interest for 72 months. SO her she is folks my new baby

p.s. Sorry i couldnt make it to TEXAS one last time. I promiss to come back
