Haven't posted on here in years, but still lurk around every so often. Well I said goodbye to my 2004 TL last night. After 14 years and 187,000 miles, she has served me well. Couldn't have asked for a better car and will miss her, but I am now in a 2014 RDX AWD w/Tech. Man, this one is nice!

Hi guys! Still got my TSX. Probably will for at least another 5 years

So I've only had my '06 TL for about 5 months, but I've got as high as 26MPG, but average 21MPG. I have a heavy foot. Premium has more power than regular, but no real MPG difference.

Anyone got a engine hoist I can use/borrow?
I've got a 06 TL. I got the thing off a lady for real cheap. Don't know how I missed it, but the coolant over flow bottle was missing. Result? Slightly blown head gasket on the front bank at the least. Used some Bar's Head Seal as a stop gap as money is tight for me. It worked to a degree.....until yesterday. I'm going to pick up a low mileage used engine in the morning and hope I can get the swap done before Thursday afternoon when I go back to work. This is my only car so I sorta have to get it done. I'm hoping I can find someone to loan me a engine hoist as the ex-wife sold mine and haven't been able to justify or afford getting another one. I sure wish I had made it a priority now. Anyways, if anyone reading this has one I can use for a day or two, I would really appreciate it if we could make it happen ASAP. I know it's going to rain and I don't have a garage to do this swap in, but I do have tarps and will keep the hoist as dry as I can. I stay in Arlington, but should be able to get a buddies truck to go and get it from just about anywhere in the DFW area. Renting one adds up quick and buying one right now is not really in the cards either. Never swapped an engine without there being some expense you hoped you can avoid, so I'd rather save the cash for that. Reply to this post or contact me at 817-262-2676 if you can help me out. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out here. I appreciate your time.

Worst part about it is, I spent a lot of time (over the course of a week) back and forth via text messaging helping diagnose his engine swap problems.

Hey.. I remember this guy..
We all had a good laugh. He posted in our 3G discussion thread... looking for a spare engine mount
That's like looking for a spare condom, will return.

I was hoping I could find someone online in the Arlington, Texas area who might have an extra front and side engine motor mount. Swapping engines and found that mine are in worse shape than I thought. Cash flow had been tapped out by the unexpected need to do this swap. I’ve got to get this done by Monday morning, so either I use the old broke ones or pray I can get them for free.

Anyone looking for a Legend? Need to slim down, I own 3 and need to sell 1 of them. I'll be looking for around 5k.
It's a 6MT 1994 LS Coupe white with black interior, 175k on chassis. Put a ton of work into this car and have receipts, recently dropped in a newer JDM 3.5 motor and lower mileage manual trans.

I used to go to NTB in Richardson off Arapaho and Plano Rd. Haven't been there in like 2 years but a guy named Marlin would always align me. I got the 5 year alignment package for like $350ish back when I was experimenting with ride height.

Gio Tire Shop in Arlington does alignments, but I think they charge a good amount. They can adjust your control arms according to your wheels specs & ride height. All other alignment shops only have factory specs, so they try to get it close to that. I did take mine to NTB in Rowlett, they have an in ground alignment rack, but I only tell them to adjust my toe, my camber is perfect the way it is w/ my ride height & wheel specs.
