Well, just bought a new laptop

Bought a Dell Inspiron 4150 with:

1.8ghz Pentium 4
32mb video card
384meg memory (free upgrade from 256)
30 gig hard drive
DVD/CD-RW combo drive
14.1" SXGA+ display

and a bunch of software I will probably never use

I figure it was a pretty good deal at $1499 shipped....

What do you guys think?

Oh yeah, I am upgrading from a P3 733mhz desktop.....

Thanks
Dean

Sounds like a nice laptop, not a bad deal.

Off of a bargain website

Enter E-Value code 6V772-82RTGH in the lefthand column to find this loaded Inspiron 8200 system priced at $1998 - $399 rebate = $1599 with free shipping. Here's what you get:

Pentium-4 2.4GHz-M, 15.0" UXGA LCD, 512MB DDR, 60GB Drive, 24x CDRW/DVD

ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 64MB DDR, XP Home, 10/100 + 56k, 1-yr Warranty
This sounds pretty cool too! No matter though, you are going to love your new Dell!

That looks like a great deal. The Dell Latitudes that we're buying at work currently are around $1200 and don't have near the processor, memory, HD, etc.

It's so frustrating to see the prices of laptops these days.....I paid over $2500 for my Dell Inspiron 3 years ago.

I hear ya.. I paid 2500 for my Inspiron 8000.. it's like way out dated now.. I'm getting so sick of how fast these high tech stuff get out dated... it's worst than cars...
