Welcome the newest member of the U.S Cellular Moto V710 Club!!!

Chicago stand up!!!! Lol

I decided to jump on the V710 US Cellular edition after reading reader reviews on various websites and hearing how much better this version is vs. the first firmware (Verizon) they came out with. Got a good deal too. My original contract with US Cell was up on the fourth and I basically went in and negotiated for a renewal of 1 year and a discount on the phone and walked out paying 290 and got to keep my plan (1500 nat'l anytime for $45.00 + 5.00 for n&w). For now, I'm enjoying the free Bluetooth Wireless Earpiece (Moto 8205) that came in the box. I'm also playing with it to figure out all the features. Most are self explanitory and thats a good thing.
Enjoy

Dang I can't get the pics to come up...lets try again...

What sux even more is that US Cellular is still selling the phone for 399.99 and in some places higher than that. They're giving away a 50.00 rebate if you buy it and don't want to sign a contract.

The flip side is, if you sign a 2 year contract (with the current plans, you get it for 169.00) At this moment, no carrier has the plan I have for the price so its kinda like I had no choice. Either that or stick with my old Kyocera Slider

1500 anytime nationwide with N&W for 49.99 plus tax (see 1st post). I called in to US Cellular back in Feb when they ran this promotion and I got them to alter my contract which was already in place without extending it. Up until now, I haven't found one like that on the market for anything close to it price or minute wise.

Acutally now that I think about it, US Cellular wise, 290 new in box (with free bluetooth ear piece Moto HS8205) as a bargain considering the used Ebay ones avg 285 plus 15 shipping and new goes for about what retail price is (399.99)
