Water Damaged Motorola V710
I got a Motorola V710 about 2 months ago from my uncle who passed away. It worked great and I really liked it but today, the ear piece isn't working. If I put it on speaker phone, it works fine but the ear piece is dead. I brought it to Verizon and they said that it is water damaged 
and that there is nothing they can do for it.
My question is....
1. I think my uncle had the insurance on the phone but after he died, my aunt cancelled out the service. Does the insurance carry over to me now that I own the phone??
2. If the insurance doesn't carry over, can Verizon install a new ear piece or is it just not worth it.
Right now, I'm forced to use the stupid little Bluetooth head piece and it's annoying... any advice is appreciated!!!!
