+1, plus because I don't see people adding stuff for PC laptops...

its a very touchy subject with people.
hard to get a straight answer b/c most people are either huge mac fanboys or hardcore pc fanboys.

i on the other hand have used/owned both.. i also like both...

a mac includes a lot of shit extra that normally you would have to add to a PC.. including some performance hardware..

BUT at the same time, i have built PC's that are nearly twice as fast/smooth as the mac i owned, for less money... (most people dont do this so in reality, the mac is the better choice if your just buying off the shelf)

it really just comes down to which OS you like, and what each one can do for you...

the way i would compare my PC setup to my old mac...
the mac is a Z06 corvette thats fast off the lot, looks sweet, sounds good..
my PC is say, a 240SX twin turbo that isnt as pretty, doesnt have as many gimmicky cool features, but cost me a bit less and is just as fast.

i dont own a mac at the moment, but an iMac is in the near future pending price...

in a nutshell, yes.

i have friends that use mac.. and wont ever go back to PC..
and also know people that have used mac's.. and their experience made them never want to get one.

there are pros and cons of each... its about what they do for you as an individual...

what exactly do you use a computer for? plan to use it for?

I'm a web developer/designer and photographer. I typically use most of Adobe's products currently.
