I think a few of us use Unifi gear at home and at work so I made a thread.

My Unifi Dream Machine Pro just arrived today. It's replacing my Unifi Security Gateway 3. The USG3 was decent but enabling IDS/IPS limits the WAN bandwidth to only 85Mbps. I'm upgrading my Internet to 500/500 next week so that isn't going to cut it anymore.

So far the UDM Pro is kicking ass, I got all the IPS categories enabled and Smart Queues (Unifi's auto QoS) and I'm getting 100Mbps, it should be able to handle 500Mbps just fine.

No cameras added yet, and maybe I'll go with Unifi Access for home locks in the future
