Treo 600 or 650? And Why?
Hey pda/phone gurus,
I am just about to change phones. I need a palm based phone so I can continue to use my medical prorams on it.
For those of you who have had both a 600 and then 650...what do you think I should do?...I have been watching the threads, but still do not have a clear idea...
btw, I have sprint for service...
thanks so much for the help....as always...

treo 650 definitly.
1. Screeen resolution. Treo 600 only has 160 x 160 where as the Treo 650 has 320 x 320.
2. Internal Memory The Treo 650 has more I just cant remember the exact spec.
3. You can buy multiple batteries for the 650 since you can change them where as the battery on the 600 is built in.
4. Better Camera in it not that it probably matters but it is 1.3 Megapixels
Here is a link with more info if you want.

Obviously price has bit to do with it.
The 600s are probably really cheap now.
I've gone through all three Treos and by far the 650 is the best.

Neither. But, if you really must get one, the 650 is heads and shoulders improvement-wise above the POS 600.

if you get the 650, i hope you don't rely on the BT for headsets or HFL coz it may cause resets to the phone. BT file transfer has been ok so far. also, if you love phone features (mp3 ringtones, profiles, mobile IM, etc) be prepared to pay extra $$$ for them.
if you use categories for your contacts, make sure you sync with outlook or entourage as they support them
but if you can wait, i'd see what the 700 has to offer or check out pocket pc

I have a BT headset Sony HBH-660 and it's great. Rarely have connection issues, it has caller ID which is cool.
My personal opinion is to either get the 650 or wait at least a year for the 700. New OS always = big problems. Let em work the bugs out on the 700 first.
