Im currently on a 2yr plan thats finishing up at the end of december and im really interested in upgrading from my rinky dink sidekick LX to a smart phone.

my options (and reasoning):

1) Iphone - dopest phone on the market - also most expensive and on another carrier. I dont care for unlocking one and using it on Tmobile. But, my mother has a plan already so i might be able to join up there too.

2) Palm Pre - Ive been all about this phone since sprint and Palm starting talking about it.. I hear sprint is really cleaning town with their network these days (super dope fast) and the plan is not badly priced either.

3) Mytouch - Lastly, im really considering staying with t-mobile now that I've seen a bit on this new MyTouch that came out. Essentially the same as the G1, w/o the keyboard built in (only on screen.)


So I'm really stuck between the Pre and the Mytouch (I doubt more and more that I'll make the switch to At&t but who knows.)

Whats the deal with the Mytouch? Ive read good reviews on it, still havent seen one in person though. Ive seen the Pre and I love it, though if anyone has any insight please share. Same goes for the Iphone (though im pretty familiar with it.)

i have a mytouch and i enjoy it alot. have tons of free downloadable apps...i use it more doing other things with it then making phone calls
