AT&T buys T-Mobile for 38Bil...
Wow hopefully this will help you ATT customers with dropped calls. Too bad they are both false advertising 4g when they are truly 3.5G. Only Verizon LTE and Sprint WIMAX are real 4G. Customers on ATT are complaining about not getting 4g on the newest HTC Inspire and thats why.

it's a car-drive it
Youre one of few. drop calls and false claiming 4g. Customers are saying their phones are getting slower than 3g on the claimed 4g phones. When ATT is getting 10mb/sec or higher like my EVO 4G gets then they can claim 4g. Customers are gettin 1mb/sec are up to 3mb/sec. Thats 3g speed.

Yup. I usually use my phone on my laptop when the signal is really good to get the highest 4g speeds. My DSL extreme is only 6mb/sec and i get the full 6mb/sec. Its a good speed for 19.99/mo from ATT w/o home phone.

hAHA no its not. its 2 different networks all together. to save bat life you can even turn-off 4g on the phone and use 3g. On verizon its a 4g card to remove out the phone. ATT/T-mobile are souped up 3g that CNET says should be called 3.5g rather than 4g. But whatever makes you feel better calling it something you cant have. he he. $G is faster than when my phone is on my wi/fi whether Roadrunner or dsl extreme...lol.

still in the wrong section. The deal has not been finalized and can take up to a year because they still need regulatory approval. Also, my friends with sprint and Verizon are saying that at times their 3G is faster than their 4G as well.
