Roll over minutes
Roll over minutes
Does anyone else have a ridiculous amount? I may have the most roll over minutes out of any of my friends. I have a Cingular, well now AT&T phone...And I did *646# (MIN) to see how many minutes I had this month, and I have 8492 Rollover Minutes...I barely ever use my phone during the day, and use it for hours and hours at night/weekend (when its free)...The lame thing is...If I change my plan to a smaller plan they don't let me keep the rollovers. Anyone else have this much? Just thought it was weird. Even when I do use my phone during the day, it's mostly text messages while in class.
I'm the same too... but I thought I had a lot! I had something close to 4,500 after a year of use on my old phone/plan. Now that I have an iPhone/AT&T I just dialed *646# and it told me how many minutes I have left, but it didn't tell me the rollover.
I have about 5,000. And I absolutely love it. I don't talk on the cell much, but when I do its good to know that I won't ever have any overages.
Some people at a T-Mobile kiosk tried to get me to switch to them telling me some lie about how ALL my 5000 roll over minutes will expire after 12 months; which absolutely makes no sense. I told him that was not true and only the roll over minutes that are 12 months old will expire (ie. rollover minutes earned in December 06, would expire this month). Then this other asshole tries to treat me like I didn't know what I was talking about saying that all minutes expire because he "used to work at Cingular". I told him that I used to work at Cingular too (which is the truth) and I know exactly how it works, after that he couldn't say anything because he knew at that point I knew he was full of shit.
Sorry for venting, it just pisses me off how some people think they can take advantage of customers by lying to them.

yea, i had about 10,000 rollover minutes. before i changed plans.
the at&t guy told us are average minute usage was about 400-500 minutes, so we cut back from the 1400 minute plan the 700 minute plan. sucks that we lost the 9,300 rollover minutes, but we never even hit close to the 700 so might as well save some money.
and we finally tacked on the unlimited texting, my dumbass texts way too much hahah

you should call them and ask to be switched to a lower plan, and bring up your roll over. They will say no at first but be like i paid my bill so i paid for them i want to keep them. It takes time but can be done. My friend has done this so have I. I had to call in like 3 times but i did it during work
no on can tell me what to do or when to do it. my

My mom, sister and me all have a shared plan. Normally we have about 200-250 left over but for some reason last month we used some roll over minutes because we went over. They where diffenently nice to have.
