No, too much subs. More info on one page is better.

Professional web site - menu choices?

So I'm setting up my firm website, and have an opinion question...

Does having menu-submenu-subsubmenu choices go to far? For instance, if someone scrolls over "practice areas" in the menu, it drops down, and then a scroll over "consumer BK" give another submenu for Ch7, ch13, etc.

Is this too much sub menu-ing? I think having people just click on "consumer BK", and then having a page with all of the different info is too much on one page, but then I also have a feeling that too many submenus is a problem as well.

What says TechieAZ?

I remember some websites who have it both way, sub menus and clicking on the main menu and having all the info on the new page as well.

One submenu is best and optimal, considering how many users right now are table / phone users. I usually go this route, as I try to make it as simple as possible to navigate.

I'm not too worried about people using my site in a mobile fashion, but it is something to keep in mind.

I think you keep the menus as simple as possible. If you have a lot of info on one page, just setup bookmarks at the top of the page so they can click and jump that section. Then in each section, have a "Top" bookmark so they can get to the top. All done w/o scrolling.

Not a fan of sub-menus... but that's just me...
