I copied my iPod control from home, so I have a bunch of folders labeled F20 through like F59. How can I tell iTunes at work to use the songs and movies from those folders?

 

pretty sure you just import them into your library and the source info will be readable by itunes

 

How do you import them? I tried copying them into the library folder, but that didn't work.

Ah sweet, thank you. I must have looked through the menus a dozen times and missed it each time.

On a side note, is it possible to have both my albums from home and albums from work at the same time? Each time I tell iTunes to sync here at work it says it's going to replace all my songs with the ones from my computer here. I want both albums on at the same time.

 

in preferences in the advanced tab check the boxes that says copy all songs to the iTunes music folder when added to library and keep iTunes music folder organized. Open iTunes and drag and drop all the f50, etc folders onto the library icon in the iTunes app. Doing so will copy all songs to the iTunes music folder and they will be organized by artist and no longer in the odd folder names
