Improving Cell Reception in Basement

Guys, in the basement apartment to which I'm moving, I get poor reception on my VZW cell phone.

When I am upstairs, reception is adequate. How can I do something about this considering I'll be spending most of my time in the basement? Anyway I can run an antenna from upstairs?

I appreciate any thoughts!

Verizon should have a repeater/booster solution available for this. Most carriers do.

I dont think they sell these things to the public...i've never heard of a wireless company selling these things..i know u can buy them online for a few thousand...or at least purchase the knock off ones online for $20

Does only Verizon sell this or are there third-party vendors?

Let me check into it and get back to you. I know several people who have them, I thought they were for retail sale. In the meantime, here's an example from third party retailers (they're not going to be cheap):
