I've been running the Leaked 2.1 on my Eris for months now (All 3 versions) and it makes it a completely different and much better phone.
Just happy the official product if finally coming.

i have the update and its fantastic, really makes the Eris even more of an amazing phone than before. Really makes me wonder why anyone would want the Droid over the Eris? The slide-out keyboard does nothing for me, the Droid is heavier, bigger, etc.

eris is great...but the phone going silent when making calls is a big problem, doesnt happen often, but it does. Also the phone dialer SUCKS, it is so laggy ill try to make a call sometimes then wait 30 seconds before it actually calls out.
