Are these people just the real world equivalent of the Comic Book Guy on the Simpsons who sit around and criticize everything? I'm interested in the Motorola V710 but its like that forum is 95% negative on the phone. Do you think these are mostly legitimate complaints or are they nit picking the phone to death? I hope whatever problems they do have are fixed with firmware updates because that phone would really fit the bill for me.

 

theyre all a bunch of bitches that are wayyy to into their cellphones, im sure most of them dont even have friends to call

 

they nit pick alot...for the avg user you wont have most of there problems or even notice them....i was also looking at that for the reviews since i am dying to get the phone already...but i cant take anything they say seriously cause half of them lie, and the other half worry about every little thing...

 

They are starting to become more critical...and their phones and services offerings from their provider becomes more numerous and complex. Everytime you come out with something NEW, you're going to take a beating until you get it straight. Now is VZWs turn.

I'm at the point where I look at the forums to sift thru all the BS and cultivate and implement the good ideas....for Sprint.

 

Its tough to sift through the BS. I'm sure a lot of the problems relate to the fact that these people are getting the phone before its even officially available from Verizon. Throw in some people who can't RTFM and still others who think the phone is defective simply because the engineers chose one perfectly valid route over another. I keep thinking "If the phone is as bad as you people claim, how did it ever make it to market?" Right now I'm looking for patterns and trying to decide whether or not the complaints will affect me. I just want a reliable phone that won't reboot or drop calls 5x a day for no apparent reason.
