how the hell do I assign colors to contacts in outlook?

outlook 2003.

On the previous version of outlook I had it set so the subject and sender in my inbox could be different colors for different senders. I can't figure out how to do it now...

Anyone know if thats possible with 2003? How the hell do I do it? I searched microsoft help and found nothing.

After Beetroot gets his answer, I still can't figure out how to make unread messages a different color instead of just being bold...

i dont know about setting color on contact. but if u click on tool -> organize -> using color ...u can type in an email and set a color for that email address.

but, to set unread mail as a differnt color, tool -> organize -> and on the top right corner click automatic formatting...u got it from there.

hope that help.

Dirty, right click in any list view (or the colum headers) for a folder (i.e your inbox), and select customize current view. This way you can modify the look of the list for differnt folders.

You can also get to this via View-->Arrange By-->Current View-->Customize Current View for any mail folder.
