How do you change the security code?
I recently purchased a Samsung SPH-A620 off of ebay, and I do not know the security pass-code. I have tried everything that I know, like the last four of the previous number, and other things like 1111 and such. I have no clue what else to do does anybody here an idea???? Thanks for any and all help!!!

When you program the phone with your new phone number, it four-digit security passcode will change to become the last four digits of your new phone number. Your first question ever on an Acura forum is about your cellphone?

I am sure the Lock code is different but try ##000000# and see if it takes you to a menu with the cell (MDN) #, I dont think 000000 will work, You probably have to call Sprint and see if they can look up the Lock Code for the ESN and take you to the programming menu, or if they will tell you the Previous Phone Number Attached to that ESN. What is it limiting you to without knowing the Security Code?

ok, so that's the question, why would you want to get into the security menu for a phone that you haven't programmed already with your own phone number?
i'm telling you, once you program the phone, the 4-digit security code will change, regardless of what it use to be. ##code# was not around in the a620 days i don't believe.
if you are talking about some other type of lock code, perhaps a six-digit one, that's a totally different story.
