Going to update my computer... need suggestions!
I'm planning on playing next gen games such as Oblivion.
Here are the games requirements:
My current gaming computer is:
* AMD 64 3000+ (754)
* 1024 megs of RAM (PC3200)
* Radeon 9800 Pro
Not bad considering its over 2 years old.
Now, I'd like to keep the price capped around 700. I'm planning on replacing the motherboard with a 939 processor. Hoping to score a dual core somewhere around 3700 or 3800+.
The BIG issue however is a graphics card. I like ATI's hardware but their drivers suck. I'm open to an Nvidia card. So.. if you have recommendations please let me know.
Cliffnotes! I need advice mostly on a graphics card. Either ATI or Nvidia. PCI express please.

I'm going throught the same thing with video cards but I think I'm just going to splurge and get the best.
ATI 1900 XTX - 512 MB $599.00
With your price cap, you may be best off going with a Nvidia 7800 GT- 256mb.
