Free Ringtones and Wallpapers etc.
Found a site recently - www.zedge.net/download - where you can get free (no bs, legitly free) ringtones and wallpapers and other things for whatever phone you have. You can either go straight to the site from your phone or can have the site send your phone the file thru txt msg (currently down) or you can save the file to your computer and transfer it to your phone, which I have been doing through bluetooth. I make my own ringtones on my computer but I found some great wallpapers and txt msg tones so far. Just thought I'd share!
If anyone knows any other legit free sites post 'em up!

go into your connetion settings in your phone and there should be a bluetooth option. turn it on. then your laptop should have a bluetooth setup device to connect to your phone and transfer the file.

my labtop doesn't have bluetooth so that won't work. I uploaded the ringtones into the music library but can't move to the ringtones folder.
I followed mizouse instructions but i'm not able to change the file format.

ok,
in vista open up computer
press the alt button
goto "tools"
then goto "folder options"
click on the "view" tab
then in the advanced settings area, uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types"
then click ok
in XP, i think the process is the same, but you dont have to press the alt button and its my computer you open up. i already forgot how XP looks/works, haha

unfortunately the iphone is lame, you cant change text message ringtones :thumbsdow
i think you can change it, if your phone is jailbroken, but i dont have any experience with it.
