The X1 is sweet, but too small. Needs to have drives, etc built in nowadays.

yeah i agree for the most part. i ordered this one as my work laptop because of its ultraportability and speed...and the fact that we can no longer order ibm's due to past problems. latitudes seem to offer a bit more performance than the inspirons and are more durable supposedly. they honestly all feel cheap to me.

the 410 seems to get good reviews but if it was my money i'd have bought something else:
