Bluetooth over-ear headphones - real-world reviews please
Tired of the hype over Beats. Reading the reviews they seem so-so and lots of issue with them breaking.
These are for my 14-yr old son. He likes hip-hop and alternative so he likes bass.
I picked up a pair of Bose Soundlink on-ear headphones from Costco and he likes them but keeps telling me he wants Beats and he wants over-the-ear headphones not on-ear.

Anything else out there in over-the-ear that has good bass, is around $200, and provides good bass?

i'm still not sold on bluetooth headphones. maybe BT version 5.0 will be better?

Found a pair of Beats Studio 2s at Best Buy for under $200.
I'll give em a shot.

I understand the drivers and most of the passive components Bose uses are crap. But what about Beats products is bad? Or is the opinion that they are just overpriced?

the first gen Beats by Dre were crappy headphones, with marketing behind it to hype it up. that was like in 2008?
since then, they've been bought by apple and have gone through lots of changes.
